BELLAGIO
Bellagio is known as the "pearl of the Lario" and is the most fashionable resort on Lake Como. It has a unique position, in the center of the promontory that divides the two branches of the lake, Lecco and Como.
The historic centre, simply called "il Borgo", is a tangle of streets overlooked by elegant boutiques, artisan shops and restaurants. Among the many streets, Salita Serbelloni is one of the most photographed views of Bellagio.
Other things not to miss in Bellagio
The gardens of Villa Melzi, a large park overlooking the lake that surrounds the villa built by Francesco Melzi d'Eril, full of suggestions, from the Japanese garden to the Venetian gondola - Punta Spartivento, the end of the promontory where the two branches divide of Lake Como - Villa Serbelloni Park - village of Pescallo, a small village reachable by a staircase from the center of Bellagio.
